Intentions and Art

Today, I made the decision to write daily about my ART LIFE.

It's a trick you know, write about it then by golly I'll have to get of my fanny and – paint. Create. Go for it.

As any artist or as you creative types know, getting started and keeping the momentum up is the hardest part. We've all paved several miles with our good intentions. I've paved several highways. Oops.

So, from this day forth, I'm painting or creating. Hopefully, no – intentionally, with this blog, and with the help of me friends, - which all of you are – I will kindle and blaze my creative fires and keep them burning brightly, not just smoldering somewhere deep in the forest of within.

How's that for a metaphor? I'm sure I'll do better metaphors in the future.

I find that intentions are the first step to anything, so with this blog I am setting the intention to write daily and paint or create daily.

Big goal? No, it will be fun, and I intend it is fun for you readers too.
